The Southern Living architectural editors were so taken by the design of our carriage house during a recent photo shoot that they asked if they could offer our plans through their website.
Morgan Pierce of Grace Street designed the carriage house to blend into the yard rather than loom above it. The two-car garage is accessible from both the front and the rear. The Southern Living editors named the carriage house "the Wilton" as it is located off Wilton Road in Richmond's near West End.
Look for the story about the carriage house and its design in the May 2009 issue of Southern Living. The issue has been mailed to subscribers and will be on newstands beginning May 1. We'll post a link to the article as soon as it's posted.
Although just the plans are available now, check back later as Grace Street will ultimately deliver additions and accessory structures.
